Whats the meet up committee?

This is just a group of volunteers (around 10 - 15 people) who want to help create meet ups since we are large at numbers. The first Australian Phandom meet up was held in Archibald Fountain during Evan's meet up and only 10 people came which was easily managed. Now, we are expecting at least 15 - 30 people to attend these meet ups.

Requirements:

Watch our Twitter (@Phandom_Aus) to see if a meet up committee is being formed
You need to be able to go to these meet ups (Not necessary)
You need to be in a committee from the state you're from. So if you live in NSW, you can only be in the NSW meet up committee.
You should be a team player

Rules:

You can't leak any information w/o permission
Be kind to your fellow committee members
You can't tarnish the Phandom Aus/NZ name by trash talking about us or ignoring meet up protocols
You need to choose appropriate times, locations and activities during the meet ups.

Currently, this program is still in beta, starting out with the Melbourne Meet Up that's coming soon on October 9. These committees are moderated by Cutiejea and the admin representing the state of the meet up (if possible). Also, this is voluntary, nobody gets paid.

Protocols when it comes to meet ups

Due to recent events in the news, protocols and rules have been created when running the meet ups just for the safety of the attendees. As much as possible, we plan to make it a fun experience but we need to put in rules since more people will be attending.

The Protocols are:

1. See anything suspicious, tell the person in charge. They will assess the situation and if deemed dangerous, MOVE ASAP!!!!.

2. No one should leave the group alone. You need to let the one in charge know where you're going and have at least 1 - 2 people coming with you

3. Have your phones ready to contact 000 if possible. If possible as well, get the numbers of the ones in charge, that way, they can contact you if you're gone too long.

More protocols will be added in the future.

IF A COMMITTEE MEMBER BREAKS ANY OF THESE RULES, NOT ONLY THEY ARE KICKED OUT OF THE COMMITTEE BUT THEY WILL BE EX-COMMUNICATED FROM THE GROUP AND WILL BE BLOCKED BY PHANDOM AUS/NZ. ALSO, THEY WILL ALSO BE BANNED FROM ATTENDING THE EVENTS (If necessary).
